We are thrilled to announce the selection of Sahib Preet Singh(4th year, AIML) as the Mentor, Japjot Singh(3rd year, CSE) as member of the Industrial Collaboration and Outreach Committee, Falkeet Singh(2nd year, CSE) as member of the Editorial committee and Angaddeep Singh(2nd year, CSE) as member of the Graphic Designing Committee in IEEE Delhi SSN for the tenure 2024-25.

Cadets of GTBIT NCC recently participated in the annual NCC fest SARFAROSHI'24 of Bharati College. Among the various competitions, CPL Ayush Gautam stood out by winning first prize 🏆 in the videography competition 📸. This achievement highlights the diverse talents of GTBIT NCC cadets and their ability to excel in different domains. Introducing our student, Balvinder Singh, a trailblazer and the pride of our academic family. In a groundbreaking achievement, Balvinder, the first student from our institution, secured a fully funded international research internship at the prestigious University of Montreal, Canada, during the third year of his B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at GTBIT. Collaborating with esteemed professors at the University of Montreal and partnering with leading aviation giants such as Bombardier, Thales, NAV Canada, and Presagis, in conjunction with McGill University, Toronto Metropolitan University, and the University of Montreal, Balvinder left an indelible mark. His groundbreaking work involved redesigning cockpit environments, unraveling core findings in Flight Management Systems, and pioneering trajectory-based operations in aviation. Beyond accolades, Balvinder has made us immensely proud by representing the Sikh community on an international stage in Canada. Armed with skillsets in User Experience Design and Human-Computer Interaction, he aspires to contribute to the betterment of humanity. Patent published by the faculty of ECE department, GTBIT

A Patent on the title "Driver less vehicle controlled by using voice" has been published on 17/03/2023 under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Govt of India. The objective of this patent is to provide a shift from manual to robotization and to grasp risk moderation Innovations. This patent has been published by the following faculty members of ECE department:

GTBIT has always been a winner, whether in academics, dramatics, debates, or any technical event. GTBIT does not just produce B.Tech graduates; it nurtures fully trained engineers for society. These engineers possess not only theoretical knowledge but also extracurricular skills, smart thinking, and creative ideas that set them apart.

Students of GTBIT have left an imprint wherever they have participated. Students of our college have won a great deal of prizes in events such as:

  • Our boy's team won SILVER medal in Tug of war event at Inter College Sports Fest 2019 "INFINITO 2K19" at Krishna Engineering College, Ghaziabad
  • Our student Abhishek Maurya secured BRONZE medal in Arm Wrestling event at Inter College Fest 2019 "LA KERMESSE" At MERI College.
  • Our student Tekchand Deshwal (Enrollment No. 00513204913) achieved All India Rank (07) in UPSC (Indian Engineering Services) Exam.
  • A team of four students, Agam Singh, Diksha Walia, Prabjot Kaur, and Rehraj Singh Madan, pursuing Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication, managed to secure 1st positions at different levels of competitions held across the world.
  • In February 2018, the students went to Canada for a 36 hour hackathon named "Hack the valley-2" organized at University of Toronto which is Canada's top most university. Out of 3000+ applications from all over the world, 500 students were selected. They secured 1st position out of 80 teams and received $1000 reward. Additionally, each student was awarded a DJI Spark Drone (worth $1000). They were also invited to mentor students at the StarterHacks '18 competition at the University of Waterloo.
  • Earlier in December 2017, these four students won at 'Digitalize' Competition powered by Tata Power held at Asias' Largest 'Techfest' in IIT Bombay. Several teams participated in the competition and exhibited their projects, out of which many were international teams. It was a three day long technical festival. The students were awarded with Trophy, certificates and cash prizes.
  • In addition to this, in February 2018, they secured 1st position in "HACKEAM'18" a 36 Hrs Hackathon at Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, New Delhi which included two phases:
    1) Doing a survey at a rural area
    2) Making a solution to the problems faced by the people living there. There were total 54 Teams from Pan India. The students were awarded with Goodies, certificates and a cash prizes.

Some of our students have been selected for higher studies by various reputed institutes such as IIM Lucknow, Narsimunji, IIFT and XLRI.
