The Bhangra Society of GTBIT has been representing the college since the very beginning and is currently being mentored by Dr. Gurpreet Kaur. The team is always led by the senior members of the team. To win hearts and promote the rich culture of Punjab, Ashke Bhangra participates in several university and national level competitions and has bagged 1st position in the majority of them. We also serve several events, and workshops throughout the year in collaboration with esteemed organizations. At the outset of our journey as Ashke Bhangra, our passion for Bhangra further culminated in the form of the Ashke Bhangra YouTube channel which turned out to be a great success with over 77k subscribers and 15M+ views to date. With the team's dedication, good leadership and mentorship we have won the Annual Cultural Fest of IP University Anugoonj for the past 3 years and also won one of the biggest Bhangra competitions in India Bhangra Arena 2 times. Our passion keeps us going every day at the practices. The Director mam Dr. Rominder Kaur Randhawa and the whole management of the college have always supported us and without their overwhelming support, we could never have achieved so much. Preserving our rich culture and preserving our souls, Bhangra, we believe, will keep the pious root alive.
