Balvinder Singh, a final-year (7th semester) student pursuing Computer Science and Engineering at GTBIT, has achieved global recognition. Recently, he presented two cutting-edge research abstracts at the international conference on digitalization and AI in agricultural management organized by KTH University, Stockholm, Sweden, powered by Digital Futures—making a significant impact on a worldwide stage. Balvinder, the first student from our institution, secured a fully funded international research internship at the prestigious University of Montreal, Canada, during the third year of his BTech in Computer Science and Engineering at GTBIT. Collaborating with esteemed Professors at the University of Montreal and partnering with leading aviation giants such as Bombardier, Thales, NAV Canada, and Presagis, in conjunction with McGill University, Toronto Metropolitan University, and the University of Montreal, Balvinder left an indelible mark. His groundbreaking work involved redesigning cockpit environments, unraveling core findings in Flight Management Systems, and pioneering Trajectory-based operations in aviation. Beyond accolades, Balvinder has made us immensely proud by representing the Sikh community on an international stage in Canada. Armed with skillsets in User Experience Design and Human-Computer Interaction, he aspires to contribute to the betterment of humanity.

Sejal Jain is a part of the core team of Foss United Delhi which organises conferences and meetups on open-source and related topics.I was also selected as a Women Techmakers Engineering Fellow in my first year which is a mentorship and scholarship program funded by Google. I bagged the prestigious Generation Google Scholarship Asia Pacific region, given to only about 70 women across the Asia Pacific region.I interned as a Software Engineer at Maersk, which is world's largest shipping and logistics company. I am interning as a Software Engineer at Zomato currently. I was selected as a Section Leader in 2021 for Code in Place initiative by Stanford University and now in 2023 I'm a head Teaching Assistant for Code in Place 2023.

Rashmeet Singh and Harpreet Singh (Team name ByteSquadron) clinched a spot among the top 10 finalists out of 1.25 lakh entries nationwide in March 2024. Our groundbreaking solution, Ruman Al, is set to redefine education accessibility. Powered by Gen Al, we crafted a virtual mentor catering to diverse student needs, including those in rural areas and with visual impairments. The journey, especially in Bangalore, was incredibly enriching.
