Google Developer Students Club

Google Developer Students Club is university-based community group for students interested in Google developer technologies and a program by Google developers. Students from all undergraduate or graduate programs with an interest in growing as a developer are welcome. The club is headed by Jaskirat Singh Mokha (IT, Final year) as the campus lead selected by the Google team after various rounds. He has been selected as the top 172 students across India. The faculty head for this club is Mr. Parminder Pal Singh Bedi (Ex-Head, Department of IT) who took the initiative to look after this club in the college. We are happy to share that we have done 25+ offline and online events in a span of 1.5 years. The GDSC Lead of our college has also given sessions in 3 colleges of Mumbai as well. Through in-person meetups, university students are empowered to learn together and use technology to solve real life problems with local businesses and start-ups. By joining a DSC, students grow their knowledge in a peer-to-peer learning environment and build solutions for local businesses and their community. DSC basically, bridges the gap between theory and practical applications. It is designed to help students build their mobile and web development skills and knowledge. It is open to any student, ranging from novice developers who are just starting to advanced developers who want to further enhance their skills. It is intended to be a space for students to learn and collaborate as they solve mobile and web development problems.
