SIH 2022 Internal Hackathon for students of Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology

Smart India Hackathon (SIH) is a nationwide initiative to provide students with a platform to solve daily lives problems, and inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem-solving. Earlier editions SIH2017, SIH2018, SIH2019, and SIH2020 proved to be extremely successful in promoting innovation out-of-the-box. In the previous years our students have participated in grand-finale and have won prizes worth 1-lakh rupees. Internal Hackathon will be conducted at college on 23rd March, 2022 (Wednesday). Last date of team registration for Internal Hackathon : 21st March 2022. This internal hackathon in our college will finalise total 10 teams + 5 waitlisted teams which will be nominated for SIH2022 Grand finale to be held in the month of June – July 2022.

Guidelines and Idea Submission

- All team members should be from the our college; no inter-college teams are allowed.

- Each team would mandatorily comprise of 6 members including the team leader.

- Each team must have AT LEAST ONE FEMALE TEAM MEMBER.

- One team can submit only one idea solutions during Internal Hackathon.

Selection Criteria - Post Idea submission process, the ideas will be evaluated by experts in Internal Hackathon of college.

- Evaluation criteria will include novelty of the idea, complexity, clarity and details in the prescribed format, feasibility, practicability, sustainability, scale of impact, user experience and potential for future work progression.

- Working Prototype (not necessarily complete) is mandatory for Software Edition.

- Working prototype is preferable for Hardware Edition, but not mandatory.
