Event Summary
On March 08, 2022 at 12 Noon, GTBIT Finishing School (GFS) hosted a Mr. and Ms. Personality Event. The agenda of the event was to greet and to introduce new students to the functionality and goals of our esteemed society. The event was open for students of all the years and approximately 100 students were in attendance.
GFS President, DivyaShridhar, and GFS Vice President, Shivansh Grover, were on hand to open the event, followed by speeches given by team members sharing their experiences and benefits of GFS.
Mr. and Ms. Personality contest had three rounds – introduction round, public speaking round and talent round. Everyone enjoyed all the performances, some made them laugh while other made them applaud. A total of 20 students participated, out of which only 7 made it to the final round. All the participants were worthy of an applause, which made the decision making part more and more difficult. The winners were selected through discussion and voting by team members of GFS. After a log debate the winners were declared to beSuvashDurejaand Vrinda Dang as Mr. and Ms. Personality whereas,Arpit Kaur andKunwarNaunihal Singh as Runner- Ups.

Event Summary
On 9 March2022 at 12 noon,GTBIT Finishing School (GFS) conducted its offline Auditions of all the interested candidates to find the correct and responsible candidates for their society.
GFS President, DivyaShridhar, and GFS Vice President, Shivansh Grover, were on hand to open the event, followed by speeches given by team members sharing their experiences and benefits of GFS.
The event was hosted by the President of GFS, DivyaShridhar, which was basically an interview between the participants and the team leads. The event progressed as the speaker, who first introduced out participants to what this society actually does and role of every team member. Further, a Q& A session was conducted to get some insights about our participants and hence decide whom to put in which team as per their skill set. A total of approx. 35 students were interviewed, both from first as well as second year of all branches, out of which 23 students were able to get a position in the team. The event was a great success.

Event Summary
On 30 March 2022 at 4 pm, GTBIT Finishing School (GFS) hosted a session on “What After Graduation?†which aimed to help students chart out their future planswith the guidance of an expert, Mr. Neel Panicker(Senior faculty member, T.I.M.E. Education).
GFS President, DivyaShridhar, and GFS Vice President, Shivansh Grover, were on hand to open the event, which was carried forward by the hostYashikaChugh.
The event started with a game called“Chatterfall†to get to know the students and understand their needs better.The event progressed as the speaker, who specializes in training students forIIM interview rounds, joined in. The speaker went on to talk about thelengths of how to pursue an MBA and discussed the requirements, the examsto take and their exam patterns. Further, the discussion included other optionslike Government Jobs and other Finance related roles. This was followed by an informative Q & A session, where the speaker answered all our queries. All the students used this opportunity to its best and cleared all their doubts about what their plans going to be after graduation. Over all the event was a great success.

Event Summary
On 30th May, 2022 at 12:30 pm, GTBIT Finishing School (GFS) hosted an event “Art of Communicating Wisely†with an agenda of making students understand the vital role our words and the way they are delivered play in our lives with the guidance of an expert,Dr. Rupa Srinivasan. The event was open to all students and approximate 90 students were in attendance.
Dr. Rupa Srinivasanholds M.A (English) from Punjab University, and PGCTE from CIEFL. She also has nearly 30 years of experience as an English teacher, during which she has also trained the faculty of YWCA about life skills.She has also served as a columnist for a national daily, and has served as a presenter with AIR, for counseling youth.
The event began with a welcome note from the convener of the Finishing School, Dr. SeemaSingh who pressed upon the need and the significance of effective communication for personal and professional success. She accorded a befitting floralwelcome to the Speaker of the Day, Mrs. Rupa Srinivasan and helped set the tone for the Workshop and also commended the efforts of the organising team.
GFS President, Sarthak Gaur, and GFS Vice President, Sameer Sangwan, were on hand to open the event, which was carried forward by the hostHimaniGautum.
In this event, Mrs. Rupa Srinivasan, helped students to understand the magic, our words and the way they are delivered, holds through daily life examples. All the students had a great experience and were enlightened by the speaker’s knowledge. The event was followed by a Q&A session to clear all the doubts of the students. At the end of the event the speaker, Mrs.Rupa Srinivasan, was honoured by theConvenor of GFS Society,Dr. Seema Singh and Sarthak Gaur,and the student President of GFS Society. The event was a success.
