Writing a Research paper consists of skills like writing, simulation (program writing skills), ADA (Algorithm Design Analysis) and Data structures. A session was organized on this very relevant topic and the resource person was Dr. Ashish Khanna. There are different types of articles like review papers, short papers, conference articles and original research. We also explored the option of getting research papers published as special issues which have a higher acceptance rate and a quicker publishing time.
The elements of a research paper include an abstract, introduction, related work (review), model, simulation results in a graphical manner, results and discussion.
The session had a high attendance from all the batches and students listened to the speaker keenly. It was appreciated by the faculty and audience alike.
